Launch Leadership Collaborative is a leadership development and advisory firm focused exclusively on K–12 school system leaders. The organization was created to help school districts strengthen leadership capacity through executive learning experiences, strategic guidance, and ongoing district support.

Unlike traditional professional development providers, Launch Leadership Collaborative serves as a strategic partner for district leadership teams—helping leaders move beyond theory into practical, system-level impact.

The organization combines cohort-based executive sessions with customized district support to help leaders address real challenges, improve organizational performance, and create sustainable results.

Dr. Kent P. Scribner
Founder

Kent Paredes Scribner, PhD is an educational leadership expert, executive strategist, and served as a school superintendent for twenty years dedicated to transforming K-12 administrative and instructional systems.

Dr. Scribner began his 34-year public education career as a high school Spanish teacher and guidance counselor in Philadelphia. He then became a principal in Phoenix, a central office administrator in Tempe followed by two decades as a system leader in Arizona and Texas.

His service as a superintendent began in the Isaac School District (AZ) with approximately 8,000 students, then serving almost 30,000 students at the Phoenix Union High School District as its longest tenured superintendency since the early 1970’s. Finally, Dr. Scribner led Fort Worth Independent School District from 2015-2022 where he served more than 80,000 students and 10,000 employees. In 2018, the district was cited by the Texas Education Agency as a “Top Texas Urban District” in year-to-year academic growth.

Dr. Scribner leverages decades of executive experience to provide strategic planning, leadership development, and executive coaching at all levels. An expert in framework-driven professional development, he specializes in equipping school leaders with the tools necessary to drive measurable student success.

Dr. Scribner earned his Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from Carleton College in Minnesota and his Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia where he was inducted into the “Gallery of Success” in the College of Education and Human Development. He earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University where he was the ASU College of Education’s “Outstanding Graduate.” In 2011, Scribner was appointed as a Commissioner to the White House Initiative on Education Excellence for Hispanics and served through 2016. In 2020, Scribner served as Chair of the Texas Urban Council of Superintendents.
